Insurance renewals

How to keep your insurance valid and in-date throughout your contract

Updated over a week ago

If your insurance is included in your package

If we’ve organised your insurance, we’ll automatically renew your policy. You’ll receive your new certificate for the next year around a month before your current one expires, ensuring you’ll be covered throughout your lease.

If you’ve arranged your own insurance

Every year throughout your lease, we’ll send you a reminder email for you to share your renewed insurance certificate with us too. It’s illegal to drive without insurance, and it’s your responsibility to make sure you (and any named drivers) have up-to-date insurance.

As a reminder, your insurance must continue to:

  • Be comprehensive (for all drivers on the policy)

  • Be issued to the correct registration

  • Be issued to the correct specification of your car

  • Cover both you and any additional drivers on your quotation

    • Any additional and named drivers on your policy must be over 18

  • Be personal insurance and not business or fleet insurance (if you have a salary sacrifice or personal lease agreement)

  • Cover business use (if you have a Business Contract hire agreement)
