Your Salary Sacrifice Quote and Contract

Our website lets you generate multiple quotes that might suit your requirements, so you can find the right one for you before generating documents.

Choosing the right lease term and mileage

The term and mileage you choose will have an impact on your monthly payments.

It’s easy to overestimate how much mileage you need on a day-to-day basis, but you may need less than you think – our drivers average just 167 miles per week.

Track your mileage over a few weeks to get an accurate sense of how much you need. Then, choose a lease that accommodates that figure. It’s fine to add a little headroom – but if you overestimate too much, you’ll be paying unnecessarily for mileage you won’t use.

If your contracted mileage is too low, any excess mileage calculated at the end of your lease will be charged at the excess mileage rate outlined in your Hire Agreement.

What contracts will I receive?

We’ll send you two documents to review and sign:

  1. Driver Handbook - this is signed by just you, and outlines the terms and conditions of your lease and your responsibilities for looking after the car.

  2. Driver Agreement - this is signed by both you and your employer, and is the contract detailing the terms of your agreement.

What happens when my employer/HR rep countersigns my documents?

We require your employer/HR rep to countersign your Driver Agreement. This ensures that they’re happy with the information provided and allows us to place your order.

If there are any challenges with signing the document, we’ll work with both you and your employer to figure out next steps.

Can I change my contract during my lease?

If your circumstances change while your lease is active, there may be options to amend your contract. For full details, please see our Contract Amendments page in MyAccount.

What happens if my circumstances change during my contract?

If your circumstances change, please let us know as soon as possible. In some situations, you may be eligible to leave your contract early - this is often referred to as Early Termination. Many of our schemes include an Early Termination Waiver, which may allow you to return your vehicle without a fee under specific circumstances (please check with your business to see whether your scheme covers Early Termination Waivers).

To start the early termination process, you’ll need to submit an official Early Termination Request Form, which acts as your notice date. A 30-day notice period applies, and billing will continue until either the vehicle collection date or 30 days after notice is given - whichever is later.

You’ll usually need to have had your vehicle for at least six months, unless otherwise agreed. Please note that Early Termination Waivers are designed for unexpected life events, rather than personal preference, vehicle upgrades, or a change of mind.

Where a waiver doesn’t apply, early termination fees typically amount to 50% of the remaining lease value, although this can vary depending on your scheme and employer policies. Examples of situations where fees may be waived are assessed at your employer’s discretion, but can include:

  • Resignation

  • Redundancy, including voluntary redundancy

  • Dismissal

  • Extended parental leave

  • Unpaid long-term sickness leave

  • Death in service

  • Loss of driving licence on medical grounds for six months or more

As an alternative to early termination, you may be able to explore a lease transfer. This allows another eligible employee within your company to take over your lease, potentially avoiding termination fees - although employer approval and a suitable replacement driver are required.

What happens if my circumstances change before my car is delivered?

We understand that circumstances can change. If your vehicle hasn’t yet been delivered and your situation changes, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

We may be able to cancel your order, although cancellation fees could apply. This will depend on how close you are to your delivery date and the policies of the dealership supplying your vehicle, as these can vary between providers.

If your vehicle is due to be returned, you may also be asked to complete a self-inspection before collection to help estimate any potential damage charges. A collection partner will then arrange a suitable time to pick up the vehicle and ensure a smooth handover process.
